Make no mistake about it : No matter how small they are, Yorkshires are formidable predators !
Their teeth are indeed so sharp that like a battery of needles, they laminate in just a few minutes
most toys on the market today.
And so there is danger ! because the small pieces of plastic ingested will bring you straight to the vet in the best case or to the emergency room. I experienced it with my little rascals who tested for you countless toys.
To put it simply, there is not a toy that resists Yorks (apart from a ball to date, which I will reveal to you).
This is why it is imperative to monitor them from the first minutes of a new toy being made available, in order to remove it from them as soon as it begins to deteriorate, to avoid ingesting elements.
You also have to watch your toy budget : take a look at their collection !...
In summary, my recommendations are :
-
Ban plastic toys, whether soft or rigid :

-
Avoid toys with padding (or exclusively under close supervision to remove the padding with your companion as the game progresses)
-
Monitor toys without stuffing but with squeaker (plastic !)

-
Favor throw-and-fetch games that allow the toy to be removed if it is damaged, in addition to creating a real bond between the protagonists
